The town of Lloret de Mar is located on the most southern stretch of the Costa Brava. Thanks to a deep sailing tradition, today it is one of the largest tourist destinations on the Girona coast.

Sant Romá dates back to 1522 and has Romanesque and Gothic elements in its structure. Santa Cristina, on the other hand, stands on the beach, showing the nature of transitional structures between Baroque and Neoclassicism.
Other beautiful examples of modernism in the municipality of Lloret de Mar are the works of Puig and Cadafalch. The Verge de Gràcia Hermitage, the transept to Sant Pere del Bosc and the Costa Macià pantheon in the Lloret cemetery bring us closer to the first modernist examples of this Catalan architect.
